A Tale From the Book of SLCC Eve ~

Print PDF

T'Was the night before the SLCC, and all through Union Square Borders Books & Music, people were gathering, the people were enthusic (rhyme is more important than the vocabulary in this case, folks! Stay with me.). The flyers were hung by the window with care, in hopes that avatars and their humans soon would be there. When what to our avatar eyes should appear, eight tiny Linden, looking for beer. "Beer we have not, for this is a book store. Here is an autograph, a photograph and a telegraph" (the telegraph part is not factual). Then, with a wink of an eye and a tie-dye T-shirt, they tp'd away, they went with some jerk (reference to no one in particular - just fits the near-rhyme). All along they shouted, "Happy Book Signing to you and to all, and to all a - great SLCC weekend!"

Join us Wednesday, Aug 12 from 7p to 8:30p - the Eve of the SLCC - at the Borders Books & Music in Union Square for a 'Meet & Greet'.  Authors Jay Mahar and Sue Martin Mahar (Apple MacKay and Nasus Dumart of Molaskey's Pub) will be available to discuss their book, 'The Unofficial Guide to Building Your Business in the Second Life Virtual World'.  Pick up a book at the Border's Store and pass it around the SLCC for autographs!  A treasured keepsake, for certain.
