Ray Kurzweil Announced as the SLCC 09 Keynote Speaker

The organizers of the Second Life Community Convention (SLCC) proudly announced today that Ray Kurzweil will deliver this year's Keynote speech to an audience (of hundreds) of tech-savvy members of the Second Life community. Ray Kurzweil is a technology pioneer with such credits as the CCD Flat-bed scanner, text to speech synthesizer and the Kurzweil Music System, to name just a few. Kurzweil has authored several books, appeared on television and speaks to University forums. The SLCC Keynote speech will cover a broad range of interesting topics, including virtual world communications (and music), Artificial Intelligence and the future of life online.
