Guest Lecture Series - Max Chatnoir and Clowey Greenwood - Science and Education in SL


Max Chatnoir and Clowey Greenwood are prestigious member of 'Scilands' in Second LifeĀ®, where scientists and educators have formed a great continent in the name of science and education. Max Chatnoir is Mary Ann Clark of Texas Wesleyan University and Clowey Greenwood is Dr. Carolyn Lowe of the NMU School of Education. Together, at Molaskey's Pub, they are presenting some fascinating ways of using the virtual world of Second Life to teach their specialty - science. Max Chatnoir runs Genome Island and Clowey Greenwood is the creator of the islands of Biome and Biome II . She is also a leader of the group 'Teaching Science'.  This fascinating use of virtual worlds will rekindle your exciement for creative and intelligent ways of using this virtual world platform.
