Halloween Costume Party Planned On Olde Wichi Riverwalk
Sunday, 28 October 2007 04:40
Please join us for a Costume Party on Halloween Night. This ghoulish gathering of spooky and amusing avatars will take place 7-9pm SLT in front of Molaskey's Pub, on the 'Olde Wichi Riverwalk' and Gilly Pad Underwater Graveyard, er-bookstore.
Though Molaskey's Pub has become the main attraction in Wichi, sponsoring popular concerts, lively parties and game tournaments, it is not the first establishment in Wichi. Long before Molaskey's Pub was built, it was the quiet, primary residence of Ms. Katydid Something. Down the path from Ms.Katydid, Apple MacKay built 'Apple Gallery' and Gilly Gully established 'Gilly Pad', her underwater bookstore. Apple MacKay connected all the properties along the Wichi River with a cobblestone riverwalk. This was the main gathering place for close friends, artists and collaborators. Legend has it, once the Pub opened, the Wichi Riverwalk became a ghost town. Those brave enough to walk its haunted paths have reported ghostly sightings, eerie sounds and a waiting casket.
Join us for a cackling-good cup of witches brew, a dizzying haunted maze, spooky music and a few surprises. Be creative and join the contest for best male and female costume. Honorary mentions will be given for deserving effort. Those without costumes will be forever haunted.
