I have been posting to FB lately but will bring some things over to the pub website as well. This is my 2nd time to visit Tokyo and my daughter's first trip. After sleeping well we roamed around Tokyo the first day so she could get a feel for the subway system and the town. That evening we met one of my very first friends in sl that lives in Tokyo and he gave us a great tour. We exchanged gifts and had a fun time. On day 2 I was in line early and got in to the first day of Sumo wrestling in Tokyo! For lunch we ate what the sumo eats, lol Really I picked the veggies out and passed on eating the fatty meats but it was such a fun day. My daughter is under the weather but tomorrow we will head out to Kyoto/Osaka/Nara area and have a tour guide lined up for the 14th. I hope to get as much out of the JR Rail Pass as I can before flying home on the 19th and will put pictures on FB. I sure do miss sl and the pub and my friends but travelling is great fun too and I am glad I got to do this trip. I look forward to chatting, dancing and lol with everyone the end of May.
