Area of Interest: Real World Structures in Second Life®
If you are considering replicating a real world location in Second Life®, you will benefit from a tour of the Princeton campus in Second Life®. Persis Trilling, Director of Princeton SL, recruited some of the best 3D architects and designers to replicate the historic campus in Second Life®. As you arrive, you will see the famous Princeton Tigers guarding Nassau Hall, Chancellor Green Library and Alexander Hall. The amazing photo-realistic quality of the buildings can be compared side by side with a photo of the real thing, making it hard to discern which is real or virtual. There are several abstract structures and art installations on campus to make note of, too.
